Hop oils provide a full mouthfeel and enduring finish. Tallgrass 7.2% Double Extra Special Bitter 8-Bit Like classic video games, this ale is spectacularly simple at first yet remarkably fun & complex when you get into it. There are primarily two (2) types of beers: ales and lagers.
Ale is a type of beer brewed from malted barley using a warm fermentation with a strain of brewers' yeast. The yeast will ferment the beer quickly, giving it a sweet, full bodied and fruity taste. Most ales contain hops, which help preserve the beer and impart a bitter herbal flavour that balances the sweetness of the malt.
Lager is a type of beer made from malted barley that is brewed and stored at low temperatures. There are many types of lager; pale lager is the most widely-consumed and commercially available style of beer in the world; Pilsner, Bock, Dortmunder Export and Märzen are all styles of lager. There are also dark lagers, such as Dunkel and Schwarzbier.
